What We Believe
The Eternal God
We believe that God is a three-person being: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
(2 Corinthians 13:14)
The Fall of Man
We believe that humans were created in the image of God, but fell from perfection and relationship with God by voluntary disobedience. (Romans 5:12)
The Plan of Salvation
We believe that while we were still sinners Christ died in our place; paying for all of our sins past, present and future. (John 3:16; Romans 5:8)
Salvation Through Grace
We believe that salvation comes only through Jesus by God's grace and our faith not by our good works. (Ephesians 2:8)
The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit is the Person and the Power by which assistance and ability are given for serving and for sharing the life of God with others.
(Acts 1:8; 2:4)
The Spirit-filled Life
We believe that it is the will of God for believers led and empowered daily by the Holy Spirit. (Ephesians 4:30-32)
The Fruit of the Spirit
We believe that a Christian should show spiritual fruit, such as love, as evidence of a Spirit-filled life. (Galatians 5:22)
The Body of Christ
We believe in a special called out group that Paul refers to as “Sons” are The Church and are revealed in Ephesians by Paul as a great Mystery now revealed as The Body of Christ (1 Corinthians 12:27; Hebrews 2:10)
Divine Healing
We believe that divine healing is the power of Jesus Christ to heal in answer to the prayer of faith. (James 5:14-16)
The Coming of Christ for the Church
We believe that the 'catching away' of the Church to Jesus is personal and imminent & separate to the 2nd Coming to this earth of Jesus (1 Thessalonians 4:16, 17)
Church Relationship
We believe that it is a believer's duty to identify and regularly assemble with other believers in a local church.
(Acts 16:5; Hebrews 10:25)
Civil Government
We believe that authorities should be obeyed at all times except when things oppose the will of God. (Romans 13:1-5)
